Bose Delivers a High Performance Surround Sound System for the 2020 C8 Corvette featuring Oakwood Stainless Steel Audio Covers

The new Corvette breaks new ground on a number of fronts, with the big news revolving around its mid-engine configuration. GM has been developing concepts with this setup since the 1960’s, but with the C8, this dream has finally become a reality. Obviously, they would also need the multi-media system to be elevated to next-level specifications. The Bose Performance Series option is the most powerful system of its type that they have ever produced in a coupe configuration. Highlighting this option are the Oakwood stainless steel audio covers in the upper doors covering the midranges and tweeters. The woofers are actually hidden in the lower door. If you look at the base of the windshield where it meets the instrument panel, you will see large, multi-tiered black perforated audio and ventilation covers, also manufactured by The Oakwood Group.
